As a number of the planets move into the sign of Taurus at the end of this month we are all reminded to seek “beauty” in our lives. The Zodiac Sign is often associated with traits such as reliability, practicality and solidity. However, this Sign is also linked with Venus and is very much about “beauty”.
When speaking of beauty in a worldly way, we refer to fashion, cosmetics, models, and other such glamourous attractions. However, true beauty shines from within. Someone, or something, that is truly beautiful portrays its authentic self. When someone or something is accepting of, and radiating the truth then it is truly beautiful. We have only to think of Steve Irwin, ‘The Crocodile Hunter’, who passionately showed the world the beauty of the gnarly, fierce and threatening crocodile. He did this by revealing the authentic nature of the crocodile and how these awesome creatures fit into the wondrous natural world.
Hence as some of the planets align in Taurus we are all asked to reflect on our true natures. What is truly beautiful in our lives, how can we see the beauty in others and how can we express our authentic selves in a way that is pragmatic and yet tolerant of others? These are just some of the questions that can help us consolidate our purpose and express our true worth.
