Aries: The time has come to reinvent yourself, or at least areas of your life that need a facelift. Aries are the pioneers of the Zodiac and need to be venturing into new territories.  So you will be pleased to know that the time is ripe for change. Key planets in Aries this month indicate that you can now throw off any shackles that are holding you back and forge ahead. Life decisions can be a little tricky as you need to reinvent but not necessarily cull. Only you can decide if you truly need to start anew in one or more areas. It may be possible to make changes without throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Rash behaviour is not helpful, but decisive action is called for. The main areas to focus on are your health, money and relationships. Now is an excellent time to find a physical outlet for your pent-up energy but nothing that is involves risks, or danger.

Taurus :  It is quite common to feel a little more reclusive in the month leading up to your birthday. The month prior to celebrations can be an ideal time to reassess the past year before making new Birthday year resolutions.  The start of April sees you doing exactly this. You are quietly contemplating the changes that have occurred with a view to taking a practical approach to the forthcoming year. As a result you may be less social than usual. The positive planet Jupiter is in your money sector indicating that, as long as you do not overspend, your income is likely to improve. April is an ideal month for self-improvement activities such as personal growth groups, a hobby that lifts your spirits, meditation, or an artistic endeavour. On the other hand you may enjoy sitting on a couch relaxing and reading a good book.

Gemini:  April is a busy, busy month. Your social calendar is full.  You have an expanding sense of self-worth, and enthusiasm for sharing your joie-de-vivre with anyone who comes into your realm. You are popular and eager to make merry with your associates. Your professional life may have a more artistic, charitable or spiritual bent this month. If not then you may feel quite lethargic at work. This is not a month for pushing yourself to work hard. You need a disciplined schedule that fulfils your responsibilities but you definitely need some time to be creative and have fun. This will recharge your batteries. If you overdo it with duties that are not fulfilling then you are likely to be very tired. Why not take a more relaxed approach and enjoy the extra sparkle that your friends can offer.

Cancer:  This month sees you focussed on your professional life. Most Cancerians are homebodies, preferring the company of family and friends. Nurturing is your natural modus operandi. Often the positions of the planets support this role for you. However, April is the month when you need to focus on your career.  Your professional life is likely to be a bit erratic this month with ups and downs at work.  There may be changes in your workplace, co-workers coming and going or a revamp of your office. On the other hand you may be making up your mind to apply for a promotion, or attend to areas that have been neglected.  If you are employed then it is likely that you need to make changes that earn you recognition and rewards at work. If you are unemployed then you may have a breakthrough this month. This is not a time for play or recreation. 

Leo:  The configuration of key planets in a like-minded Fire Sign indicates that you need something or somebody to really light your fire during April. If you are single then you may fall in love with a person or a past-time.  A potential or new lover is likely to consume your heart and thoughts this month. If no-one is on the scene then spirituality, the arts, legal matters, world politics and sports are just a few of the areas from which you can select. Right now you need to follow your dreams, broaden your mind or just escape into your imagination. If you are in a committed relationship then you may be inspired to plan an overseas trip, join a cultural group, audition for amateur dramatics, or meditate together. If all else fails then you can gather a pile of books or DVDs, turn every appliance to OFF and get away for a while.

Virgo: The word “change” is often bandied about but there is a great deal of difference between small changes and big ones. For instance you can change your clothes or the tires on your car, which is relatively easy for a practical Virgo, or there are the bigger ones that are not so easy. April is your month to face the fact that things have to “change”.  You are a details person, enjoying the minutiae of life.  The thought of making big changes can be onerous. Therefore you would be best advised to use the month of April to make a list of the areas of your life that need to be altered. Write down the biggest transformation required first and then break it down into a list of achievable tasks. Taken step by step a mountain can be climbed and the view at the top is well worth the effort!

Libra: April is your month to do what comes naturally - date, mate and relate. Whether you are single or married you are ready to focus on your need for romance. How you relate this month is likely to trigger changes in the way that you see yourself. This is also true if you have a business partnership or legal matters to attend to. It is time to put the sparkle back into life through clearing out, and sparking up your relationships with others.  You may start by having a make-over, a new image that takes others by surprise. You may also be astonished by an unexpected turn of events when it comes to your relationships.  In particular an Aries person may take you aback. This is also an excellent month to start up a new hobby with your loved one.

Scorpio: April sees a few changes occurring in your daily life. This could be a temporary change of scenery, a new health regime or changes in your work place. The planets are aligned in such a way as to prompt you to adopt a healthier daily regime. If you have been working too hard then it is time to slow down. If you have been overindulging then it is time to start exercising and change your diet. If you have been unhappy at work then it is time to make some changes so that you can enjoy your life more. It is not necessarily time for a giant leap forward, but rather for tackling the bad habits that stop you moving ahead with your goals. Alternatively it is time to set in motion the small steps that help you eventually see the bigger picture.

Sagittarius: April is a creative month for the Archers of the Zodiac. It is not necessarily a busy month. Sometimes the most creative moments can be born when relaxing at home. You are less likely to be blessing the social scenes with your presence, and more likely to be spending time at home. You may be re-decorating your home, or making changes to your housing situation. Children may be a source of inspiration during April. It is also possible that you are inspired to write, draw, paint, sculpt or enjoy some other activities that utilise your talents. In other words April is the ideal month to listen to and indulge your inner child!

Capricorn:  April is the perfect month for you to get your house in order. This can mean many things. You could catch up on household chores, fix up parts of your home, or perhaps consider moving house. On the other hand there may be a family matter that needs attending to. This can be the beginning or ending of a phase in your home life with someone moving in or out. You may be surprised by a visitor. You are less social and more inclined to attend to matters at home this month.

Aquarius:  This is no time to have fixed ideas. Aquarians need to keep an open mind during April. In fact your mind is likely to be quite active. You are also likely to be busy. This may because of changes in your neighbourhood, a training course, visits from siblings or perhaps many short journeys.  You can enjoy stimulating conversations and discussions. It is possible that your boss requires you to learn a new skill, start a new project or teach others. Usually you are a member of group but this month you may be suddenly thrust into a leadership role. You are likely to enjoy this temporary change of pace, and a new challenge.

Pisces:  Money matters are the focus during April. You need to keep your thoughts trained on positive outcomes. It is no time for self-doubt. If you believe in yourself then you are likely to see a change at work, or in your life, that boosts your confidence and helps you financially. This not necessarily a direct pay rise, but rather something happens during April that has positive outcomes for you financially and emotionally in the long-term.  As usual you need to surround yourself with positive people. You may benefit from a gentle form of exercise or an uplifting activity. Swimming, yoga, art classes, meditation or some such activity could be beneficial to your life goals.
