“Some of us think holding on makes us strong; but sometimes it is Letting Go” – Herman Hesse
When I was younger I read a lot of Herman Hesse. His writing
was insightful, inspirational and somehow both eerily reminded me of my
aloneness and yet affirmed the aloneness on an existential level. This is very
soothing to a young person who feels that they see the world differently from
most of their peers. Needless to say I grew out of my Hesse phase, but today I
am reminded of his words as an Eclipse heralds changes and the need to let go.
The Solar Eclipse will occur at 9.58.22am Adelaide time. While it will be
highly significant for anyone with Fixed Signs – Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and
Aquarius – it is also a reminder to all of us to “let go” of personal desires
which stand in the way of the greater good. Take a moment to ponder how this
can affect you.
